Client wanted to buy their first home. During the pre-approval stage, client mentioned they would be leaving their current job and starting a new job. It was a great opportunity that she could not pass on! 2 weeks notice was already provided to the current employer. 

Over the weekend, they found a home they really liked and decided to put an offer in. The offer to purchase was accepted! However, client starts their job on Monday and mortgage financing condition is required by Friday.

Often times we get asked, "can I buy a house if I just started a new job?"

Answer is, maybe! There may be possibilities of getting approved depending on how strong the file is!
